Motions 

If you were married but since divorced, you may have an order or agreement in effect. Sometimes the rules in the order are not being followed. When a party is not following the order the other party is allowed to file a motion to "enforce litigant's rights" or basically make a complaint to the hearing officer or judge to make the party comply with the order.

Also there may be times when an order needs to be changed and again a motion needs to be prepared.

A motion is a packet of papers that goes before the hearing officer or judge to help decide the outcome of the case. The motion lists information about the case and why the case is being brought to the courts.

The following motions can be prepared for you:

A motion to Increase or Decrease Child Support Payments

A motion to Increase or Decrease Alimony or Spousal Support Payments

A motion to Change Custody Arrangements of a minor child

A motion to Change the Visitation/Parenting Time arrangements in your case.

A motion to Enforce Litigant's Rights

A motion to Emancipate a Child (Terminate Child Support)

A motion for Reimbursement of Medical Expenses 

These Motions are for people who were married previously. If you were not married you can go to the courthouse and make an appointment to meet with someone in the Family Division.
